Looking after my boy: Kourtney Kardashian protectively covered her son Mason's head as she took him into a plastic surgeon's office in New York to look at his nose, which had a bandage on it

As part of the Kardashian empire she can afford the best healthcare for her young son.

But it seems that Kourtney may have slightly overreacted when her exuberant son Mason, 21 months fell over.

The glamorous star of Keeping Up With The Kardashian's was seen hurrying in to keep an appointment... with a plastic surgeon.

Sucking on his dummy, the usually-energetic toddler was sporting a bandage on the bridge of his nose as his mother, 32, carried him in New York yesterday.

While a certain amount of concern is natural for any mother, a visit to a cosmetic surgeon seems like somewhat of an over-reaction.

Mummy's boy: Kourtney covered her son's head with a blanket as she left the plastic surgeon with her boyfriend Scott Disick

The pair were joined by Mason's father Scott Disick, 28. Kourtney, 32, had earlier covered her son's head with a blanket as she carried him out of the couple's hotel.

But with the Kardashians who document the minutiae of their glamorous lives for a voracious audience, it's likely the worrying episode will end up on our screens in the none too distant future.

Thankfully, the youngster appeared to have perked up last night, as Kourtney and Scott were later seen on a dinner date, filming for their reality show, Kourtney & Kim take New York.

Active: Kourtney yesterday posted this cute snap of her playing with Mason in Central Park earlier this month

The star changed from a cute kaftan-style dress and ballet flats into a black and white printed dress and black heels.

The always-suave Scott donned a shiny blue suit.

The doting mother had earlier posted photos of her and her son playing happily on a playground in New York earlier this month.

Glammed up: The couple were later seen on a date in front of the cameras for their reality show, Kourtney & Kim Take New York

And never one to be upstaged, Kim Kardashian posted a photo on her blog yesterday of her carrying Mason in her massive Tote bag, while their sisters Kendall and Kylie Jenner look on.

The snap was taken in Bora Bora where the family holidayed recently for their parents, Kris and Bruce Jenner‘s vow renewal on their 20th anniversary of marriage.

Kim said: 'Mason was playing by my feet at dinner in Bora Bora and crawled into the back of my bag, so I took him over to show Kourt! How funny!?'

From Mum to chic: Kourtney changed from her Kaftan-style dress and ballet flats into a black and white printed dress and heels

The Kardashian and Jenner clan are in New York for Fashion Week and supported the youngest sister, Kylie, 14, as she made her catwalk debut on Monday.

She was modelling in Avril Lavigne's line Abbey Dawn.

Avril is dating Kylie's half-brother Brody Jenner.

Cute: Kourtney's sister Kim yesterday posted this adorable picture of Mason who had crawled into her bag while they were holidaying in Bora Bora recently

Meanwhile, Khloe Kardashian and her husband Lamar Odom have appeared in an advertisement together for Wonderful Pistachios.

It shows Lamar playfully stealing a nut off Khloe and her saying 'that was mine'.

A voiceover jokes: 'Khloe and Lamar, do it as foreplay'.

Infernal cheek! UN busybody compares Britain's eviction of travellers to human rights abuses in Zimbabwe and China

-UN adviser Yves Cabanne says the UK is breaking travellers' human rights three times over
-Argues that 'the people who are abusing the law are the council, not the travellers'

By Paul Harris

'Human rights violation': UN adviser Yves Chabanne, front, held a press conference at Dale Farm travellers' site

A United Nations adviser championed Britain's biggest illegal gipsy site yesterday by comparing the travellers' situation there to some of the world's most appalling acts of oppression.

The astonishing parallel was drawn by Professor Yves Cabannes in an 11th hour visit to Dale Farm in Essex, where he branded Monday's planned eviction an 'inhumane and illegal' violation of international law.

The French academic said the UN was used to dealing with millions losing their homes in countries such as Zimbabwe, China and Nigeria - yet no one seemed to be able to solve a dispute involving 86 families.

Although half of the six-acre site is legal, an estimated 400 people are said to be living on 51 unauthorised plots.

Travellers and supporters say they will resist the eviction peacefully but police are preparing a major operation starting on Monday to ensure the Basildon Council-led eviction passes off peacefully.

During an extraordinary press conference in front of the UN flag, Mr Cabannes said the council had failed to provide the pitches it should make available to travellers.

Flanked by Gipsy Council officials and travellers’ supporters in the front garden of one of the homes earmarked for demolition, he said: ‘The people who are abusing the law are the council, not the travellers. The council is not fulfilling its duties.

Outburst: Prof Chabannes, speaking in front of the UN flag, compared the eviction to human-rights abuses in Zimbabwe, China and Nigeria

Conference: Residents and Press watch the UN adviser's controversial speech

Prof Yves Cabannes talks to Gypsy Council members Candy Sheridan (right) and Joseph Jones (2nd right) as they tour Dale Farm travellers' camp with residents

'There are many Dale Farms which face these issues every day and there needs to be a co-ordinated approach across the country.

‘We are used to seeing millions of people losing their homes in Zimbabwe, China and Nigeria – how is one country unable to solve the problem of 51 pitches?’

Earlier he had told Radio 4’s Today programme that council chiefs were ‘infringing’ human rights at Dale Farm.

He claimed Basildon Council had breached three international rights: The right to adequate housing, the right for protection against forced eviction and the right of ethnic minorities to be protected.

Prepared: A large police operation is planned for the eviction on Monday to ensure it passes off peacefully

Moving on: Reports have emerged that several Dale Farm families have already started to leave the site

While the UN adviser speaks inside the camp, security contractors construct fencing along the perimeter of the Dale Farm site

Council leader Tony Ball reacted angrily to the visit, which comes less than a fortnight after a UN committee urged a postponement of the eviction until a ‘culturally appropriate’ site could be found.

Mr Ball said: ‘The current site has been illegally developed. After ten years, when we have exhausted the judicial process and every effort to negotiate, we have no option but to resort to direct action to clear the site.

‘The travellers can find a culturally appropriate answer to their housing problem but it must involve a site with the proper planning permission. The UN “representative” may not be aware that Basildon provides more approved traveller sites than any other local authority area in Essex and among the greatest number on any area in the country.

‘The UN refers to the rights of the families involved. Basildon Council respects those along with the rights of the vast majority of its residents who want this illegal camp moved after ten years of stalling tactics by the travellers.’

Battle: Police will start to remove families from the Dale Farm site in Essex on Monday

Protest: A traveller family demonstrates against the eviction during Prof Chabannes' visit to Dale Farm

Last night, in a last-minute deal proposal, it emerged that the elderly and infirm may be given new pitches on the ‘authorised’ site to prevent them having to move large distances. Some travellers have started to leave – but others appear to be digging in and were placing tyres with spikes to try to deter bailiffs.

As Professor Cabannes, who is based at University College, London, toured Dale Farm he was cheered by travellers, and at one stage presented with flowers.

They must have thought that the tall, confident figure in blue suede shoes was the champion they needed with just five days to go before the deadline.

But despite his strident words and defiant assertions, the 59-year-old professor was not quite as billed. The UN Advisory Group on Forced Evictions, which he chaired, lost its mandate and packed up last September.

A report he prepared for the UN, researching traveller evictions across the world and including Dale Farm, was written and published two years ago.

And although he described himself as an ‘expert adviser’ for the UN, its Human Settlement Programme, which is monitoring developments at the Crays Hill site, said it had no part in the Dale Farm visit and described it as ‘an initiative of individuals’.

Despite the UN’s efforts to distance itself from Professor Cabannes’s comments, his tour underlined growing concern that the organisation, more normally associated with famine and disaster, should even be considering whether to back a group of law-breakers.

The outcome of Monday’s planned eviction will be crucial to action in the pipeline against other such sites around the country.

Gipsy leaders plan to make an 11th hour legal bid to stop the clearance and are still gathering support.

Meanwhile, one local resident told how he had taken three years to get planning permission for a garage extension to his house, and a neighbour had been forced to demolish and rebuild a bungalow on his own land because it was sited somewhere slightly different from the location the council approved.

‘It’s one law for us but another law for the gipsies,’ he mused.

‘Everyone seems scared stiff of infringing their so-called human rights.’

Defiant: Travellers living at the Dale Farm site in Essex have vowed to remain there

Time to move: The illegal site at Dale Farm covers 51 plots and houses around 400 people

'Mummy, I'm home!' Victoria Beckham reveals baby Harper couldn't get enough of her first shopping trip to Prada

By Sarah Bull

'Mummy, I'm home!' Victoria Beckham has revealed her daughter Harper couldn't get enough of her first shopping trip to Prada earlier this week

With a mother like Victoria Beckham, it stands to reason that Harper Seven Beckham will probably turn out to be a fashionista.

However, instead of waiting until she is older to further her interest in the fashion industry, Victoria is starting her daughter early - at the tender age of just two months.

And now Victoria has revealed that Harper is already turning out to be a retail therapy fan, following a trip to designer store Prada earlier in the week.

Victoria, who is in New York with her little girl for Fashion Week, said: 'We went in to Prada yesterday and she loved it. It was if she was saying, "Mummy I'm home!" '

The 37-year-old star also spoke about her love for her youngest child as she debuted her second clothing line during fashion week.

She said: 'I can't leave her alone for a minute, I haven't been without her since she was born nine weeks ago, she's too wonderful to leave.'

Taking it all in: Harper looked very alert as her mother introduced her to the wonders of designer clothing and accessories

What about this one? Harper twists her head to check out the shoes on display at the store in New York

Meanwhile, despite being just two months old, Harper has topped a list of the hottest celebrities under the age of 25.

InStyle's Hot 100 list includes some of the most famous and impressive youngsters and adults, but tiny Harper has been deemed the most powerful of them all.

The magazine said: 'Will she be a pop star, designer or sportswoman? Either way, Posh's daughter inherits a gaggle of hunky older brothers and one heck of a wardrobe.'

Harper's wardrobe will no doubt one day include some of her mother's most famous pieces, possibly from one of Victoria's most recent collections.

Talking yesterday about her standalone brand, Victoria by Victoria Beckham, she said: 'This has been a real labour of love for me and we have been working on it for around a year.

'I wanted something that was a little bit more affordable but I did not want to compromise with design or quality.

'It's not a second line, or a diffusion line - it's another line, another side to my wardrobe. This is a way to give my customers what they want.'

Inquisitive: Harper looked super cute as Victoria took her for lunch at Balthazar restaurant later in the dau

You couldn't get away with THAT in the Commons! Sally Bercow reveals a little too much in a plunging dress

By Alanah Eriksen

Revealing: Sally Bercow flashed her bra when reviewing the news headlines on ITV's This Morning today

She has already embarrassed her husband on national television and Sally Bercow is showing no signs of holding back.

The Celebrity Big Brother star, 41, flashed her bra and a lot of leg in a loose-fitting blue dress as she appeared on ITV's This Morning today.

And then she took her attention-seeking to Parliament, hauling fellow Celebrity Big Brother contestant Paddy Doherty back to her home there.

Earlier the pair had gushed about each other on the morning show.

Sally, the wife of House of Commons Speaker, John Bercow, tweeted a picture of herself with the My Big Fat Gypsy Wedding star grinning over coffee.

They were near the couple's apartment in Westminster.

She wrote: 'Paddy so excited to come round to mine for coffee #awwwbless. Really lovely to see him :)'

Bemused onlookers tweeted about the unlikely duo afterwards, with one saying: 'Just spotted Paddy from #cbb #gypsywedding in Parliament with Sally Bercow. Winner of most bizarre celebrity pairing surely?'

Best friends: Sally posted this picture of her and Paddy sharing a coffee in parliament after they appeared on the show

Leggy: Sally donned a fitting black dress on Monday and the same black heels to raise money for charity

Sally and Paddy were reunited for the first time since she was voted off the show last month.

The formed a special bond in the luxury Elstree pad, often having in-depth chats on the couch, and invited each other to spend time at each other's homes.

Sally has even said she would like to take part in the reality show Wife Swap with Paddy.

The mother-of-three did the news review on This Morning before she joined Paddy on the couch with hosts Holly Willouhby and Phillip Schofield.

Viewers took to Twitter to lambast her dress sense, with one saying: 'Sally bercow looks like she's just fallen out of a nightclub on itv. Yuk.'

Another said: 'Should act as a warning to all teenagers: Stick on too much slap and you too could look as ridiculous as Nick Ferrari or Sally Bercow.'

Sally and Paddy looked extremely cosy on the ITV couch with the Irishman greeting his friend affectionately.

Gushing: Sally couldn't hide her excitement about reunited with Paddy and shared the meeting with her followers

He laughed: 'You saw me touch her leg there? I have an awful habit of touching people. One of these days I'm going to get a punch 'You're touching me woman.'

Philip asked if Sally would still visit Paddy.

She said 'Yeah I hope to, is the invite still on Pad?' to which he replied 'Yeah, a million times'.

Sally added: 'The only reason I was sad to go out after just a week was I'd formed such a great bond with Paddy and who would have though it? We got on really well.'

Paddy admitted: 'When she left, I swear on my life, I said "The woman I just got into, she's going. Why couldn't it be Bobby?" You know what i mean?' Because Bobby was like "I'm in love with myself".'

Happy families: Sally with Paddy and his son outside the ITV studios this morning

Sally drew cringes from the Big Brother audience when she immediately launched into a less-than-ladylike conversation with Amy Childs about intimate beauty treatments, just hours after entering the house.

She also admitted her husband was vehemently against her doing the show and told her fellow housemates she made him do the household chores.

Before entering the house she apparently told a friend she lured her husband on a dirty weekend to convince him to let her do the show.

Strictly bun dancing: Hilarious calendar shows rabbits strutting their stuff on dancefloor

By Inderdeep Bains

Rumba rabbits: The bunnies show off their rhythm in July's shot

When they were invited to a hop, they probably expected something of the garden variety.

But despite the unfamiliar setting, these rabbits quickly got into the swing – and the rumba, the bolero and the ‘bunny smooth’.

It takes two: A cosy pose in February

The pets gave the Strictly Come Dancing contestants a run for their money as they showed off a range of routines for a calendar called Ballroom Bunnies.

They are seen practicing lifts in April, holds in August, the 'bunny smooth' in November and in September there is a Dirty Dancing tribute.

The picture shows the pair of rabbits emulating the iconic lift from the film, which made Patrick Swayze and Jennifer Grey world famous.

Are you leading, or am I? Two rabbits take to the floor for a dancing calendar photoshoot

No one puts bunny in the corner: The pets emulate the famous lift scene from Dirty Dancing

But no one had to pull a rabbit out of a hat to get them to dance – because the pictures were perfected with the help of a little computer wizardry.

Steve Bicknell, from publishers Maverick Arts, said: ‘We gently posed the rabbits by moving their limbs, but obviously used computer software to complete the more energetic moves.’

Hot in here: These bunnies on the left are really getting into the swing of things, and right, Nina Dallyn, holding one of the stars of the calendar, her pet Bunny

Wabbit waltz: A carefully choreographed pose in the spotlight

Nina Dallyn, ten, whose three-year-old pet Bunny took part in the photo shoot, said: ‘I think she really enjoyed it.’

No doubt some of the Strictly celebrities wish they could use such wizardry themselves - as they graft away in the studio ahead of the first proper show in just over two weeks.

Dazzling: Some of the backdrops for the calendar photos are as sparkly as the celebrities' Strictly outfits

Pulling out all the stops: The bunnies are shown attempting the 'headbanger' lift

How it is actually done: Last year's Strictly champions Kara Tointon and Artem Chigvintsev in action
